Does anyone know whether High or Mid J 747’s operate to IAD on BA293
    (flying 30/3).

EF shows it as a 14F 777-200 so no big bird!

I generally take the morning flight as it’s a 744, the others in the day tend to be 777

Most BA 747s sent to IAD are the mid-j configuration: –

Was trying to help, but now a little confused as BA also show it as a 777?

    Hey Guardingtess.

    Apologies, you are completely right.

    I was checking the BA217.

Wow, the reservation page is showing every flight to IAD and BWI on the 30th COMPLETELY zeroed out. Unusual.

Yes it is most unusual. Perhaps another VIP visit? According to Expert Flyer all classes are waitlisted .

According to ba.com there are no seats from LHR – WAS available at all from 29 March until 2 April inclusive.

Whoops! Somehow got wrong flight number, flying on BA217 not 293. Thanks for the info on the Mid J.
