    1 – Definitely coming in to Lisbon from the South West. That’s the first one that came to mind.

    2 – Flying into Sydney over the Harbour bridge is quite sweet as well.

    3 – Evening Flight from Cairns to Darwin chasing the sunset. Most beautiful evening colours in the sky and the ground I have ever seen – with the best thank you ever message from a pilot to finish it off. (He even got a round of applause which is unusual).

    1- UK November 5th on a clear night

    2- Agree with BigDog Kai Tak was a must do

    3- Sydney

    @conshaldow

    I laughed at your No 5 as I prefer spotting my house on the inbound flight!

    And since you gave 5, I will include 2 more (I’m sure VV will not mind):

    Flying over the Ards Peninsula before landing at Belfast City.

    Flying over Brooklyn and Queens before landing at La Guardia (and much cheaper than a helicopter ride over Manhattan)!!

    @alexpo1

    Reconsidering my point again, I see your point. After a long trip there’s nothing better than setting eyes upon your house again, and more importantly… my own bed!
