Travel SmurfParticipantIn October my wife are flying to Singapore on SQ, and on to Australia (if the SIN-BNE leg doesn’t get cancelled). Originally booked BRU-MXP-SIN-BNE, the MXP-SIN leg was cancelled and we were rebooked BRU-LHR-SIN-BNE with one hour to transit LHR. All flights in Business, except BRU-LHR. All segments on the same PNR. And yes, we are Australian trying to get home. In pre-COVID times I’d be worried that was too short, yet alone with more paperwork and checks that happen now. SQ keeps reassuring me that 1hr is enough. What do people think?

CathayLoyalist2ParticipantThe S64,000 question. As others have posted it is all down to when you arrive and the volume of passengers in the terminal. As I assume you are arriving and departing to/from T2 then your chances might be better. It might be worth your while contacting SQ in advance so that they could plan to meet you at the arrival gate and escort you through the transit process. if you arriving into another terminal and departing from T2 that transfer time is tight even assuming on time arrival. Good luck

Travel SmurfParticipantGood thought about contacting SQ to see if they will do that. I can only ask. Both arrival and departure is from T2. Arrive at 1015 on SN and depart at 1125 on SQ.

nevereconomyParticipantI have rarely comfortably made a LHR transit in an hour, even without COVID stuff to deal with. SQ are pretty customer friendly, especially for Premium passengers, so definitely worth asking for assistance to make the connection.

AMcWhirterParticipantOf course two airlines are involved here rather than one (although both are Star members).
A further consideration is that travel isn’t until October so I would check schedules several times before then.
These are unusual times.
