Norse Atlantic has announced a new fly cruise partnership with P&O Cruises.

The agreement will see the carrier operate charter services from the UK to Antigua and Barbados this winter.

Between November 2024 and March 2025 there will be weekly Friday flights from Manchester to Barbados, and weekly Saturday flights from Gatwick and Manchester, alternating between Antigua and Barbados.

In December Norse put flights on sale for its 2024-25 winter season, including routes from London to Bridgetown in Barbados, and Montego Bay in Jamaica.

But a spokesperson for the airline confirmed that Norse will not now operate flights to the Caribbean on its own network this winter, leaving just the charter services detailed above.

Commenting on the news P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow said that the partnership “allows us to offer a bespoke in-flight experience that mirrors the consistently high standards our guests expect from a holiday with P&O Cruises”.

Meanwhile Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO and Founder Norse Atlantic Airways, said:

“We are thrilled to partner with P&O Cruises for the winter 2024/2025 fly cruises to the Caribbean. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to delivering exceptional travel experiences to our customers.

“Our modern aircraft and class leading product will provide passengers with a memorable and comfortable journey from the moment they step on board. We look forward to welcoming P&O passengers throughout the season ahead and contributing to the success of their Caribbean vacation.”

Norse Atlantic recently announced plans for its first flights from the UK to South Africa, with a thrice-weekly service between Gatwick and Cape Town launching on 28 October.
