Following recent travel disruptions due to the unprecedented severe weather experienced in the UAE, check-in at Dubai International (DXB) has now reopened for Emirates and flydubai flights operating out of Terminal 3.

“There is currently a high volume of guests in Terminal 3 check-in area. Passengers should only come to Terminal 3 if they have received a confirmation from their airline regarding their flight departure. Please contact your airline for the latest information on your flight status. We are working to process guests as quickly as possible and get everyone travelling to their destination,” said a Dubai Airports spokesperson as of 10.00 on 18 April.

As a number of other flights in the city continue to face delays or cancellations, as of 20.00 on 17 April, Dubai Airports still advises passengers against visiting Terminal 1 unless they have received confirmation from their airline regarding their flight departure. “Due to crowding, access to Terminal 1 is now strictly limited to passengers with confirmed departures. There are no rebooking facilities available at the terminal, and guests are urged to contact their relevant airline for the latest flight information. We are working to restore operations as swiftly as possible amidst these challenging circumstances,” a Dubai Airports spokesperson said.
