All Nippon Airways (ANA) will offer complimentary inflight wifi for business class passengers on international flights beginning this summer.

The free inflight wifi service will initially not be available on three 212-seat Boeing 777-300ER units, which also do not feature the airline’s new signature THE Room business class product, as well as six 767-300ER aircraft.

ANA premium economy and economy class passengers will be offered complimentary texting on international flights from the end of March 2025.

ANA first offered inflight wifi in 2014, charging passengers to access the internet, e-mail, and social media platforms. Since then, the airline has rolled out free wifi on all domestic flights and complimentary wifi for first class passengers.

“ANA is dedicated to continuously elevating our customer experience, and the additional Wi-Fi enhancements that will be utilized for personal or business purposes is the latest offering for our passengers,” said Tomoji Ishii, Executive Vice President, Customer Experience Management and Planning of ANA.

Star Alliance member ANA currently operates more than 210 aircraft, including more than 80 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

Going forward, the airline plans to take delivery of more than 50 additional aircraft from Boeing, including more 787-9s and 787-10s, as well as delayed 777-9X aircraft, and 737 Max jets.
