All Nippon Airways is introducing new amenity kits on international flights for first and business class passengers this month.
Passengers in both classes will receive ETTINGER amenity pouches, which have been crafted from natural cotton canvas and recycled materials while also being packaged with environmentally friendly paper bands rather than plastic. Both kits will also include an ANA original reusable bag made from recycled materials.
The contents of the pouches, however, depends on the cabin. First class customers will receive SENSAI cosmetics. Amenities include a cream, toner and lip balm, plus an ETTINGER card case. The kits will be available on all international routes from late January.
Business class passengers, meanwhile, will be offered a lip balm and body lotion from AVEDA. These kits will be rolled out from early this month and are only available on routes between Japan and Europe/the US, as well as routes between Japan and Sydney or Perth.
Tomoji Ishii, executive vice president, customer experience management and planning of ANA, commented:
“ANA’s collaboration with ETTINGER symbolizes our commitment to sustainability and provides customers with luxurious products that enhances their travel experience.
“These amenity pouches are not just travel companies; they represent ANA’s dedication to our ANA Future Promise goals of removing plastic.”
Thai Airways recently unveiled new amenity kits for its business class passengers, while Emirates has partnered with charity United for Wildlife to launch a series of amenity kits highlighting eight of the most endangered species on the planet.
