Qatar Airways has said that it will resume flights to Qassim in Saudi Arabia this month.

Starting August 22, it will operate three weekly flights to Qassim, and will increase that to four weekly services next month from September 2.

Qassim marks the fifth destination that the carrier flies to in Saudi Arabia.

The airline will also introduce an additional four weekly flights to Riyadh starting August 18, 2022, bringing the total to 20 weekly flights to meet growing travel demand to the kingdom.

Qatar Airways currently operates 93 weekly flights to four cities in the kingdom.

The addition of Qassim and the four additional flights to Riyadh, will increase the total number of Qatar Airways’ weekly services to Saudi Arabia to 101 direct flights.

At its home base airport in Doha, Qatar Airways recently unveiled three lounges at the Doha Hamad International airport, open to its Privilege Club members and Oneworld alliance card holders.

This is in addition to the airline’s three existing lounges at the airport: Al Safwa First Lounge, Al Mourjan Business Lounge and the Oryx Lounge.

The Platinum Lounge is open to Platinum loyalty members and Oneworld Emerald card holders; the Gold Lounge South to Gold members and Oneworld Sapphire members; and the Silver Lounge to Silver members.
