marhaba, the airport hospitality brand operated by dnata, has launched COVID-19 testing as part of its Premium Home Check-in Service,

It means Dubai-based travellers can take their test at home or at a location of their choice in the city, providing them with a medical certificate required for travel within 24 to 48 hours of being tested.

“Our newest service helps passengers enjoy complete peace of mind and a seamless travel experience from their home to the boarding gate,” said Steve Allen, Divisional Senior Vice President, UAE Airport Operations & Travel, dnata.

Customers booking the Premium Home Check-in Service are visited by a team of highly-trained medical professionals who perform a swab test. The samples are tested in a medical laboratory and the results are shared with customers digitally.

All passengers testing negative for COVID-19 receive a medical certificate. The COVID-19 testing services are delivered by trusted global healthcare provider Mediclinic.

During the home check-in process, agents check in travellers for their flights, print their boarding passes and weigh and tag their baggage, ensuring they are delivered to the airport and loaded onto the aircraft.

All baggage is treated with disinfectant, providing protection from microbes for up to 72 hours.

On arrival, a marhaba agent fast-track passengers through airport formalities.

marhaba has recently reopened two of its airport lounges at Dubai International’s (DXB) Terminal 3 (Concourse B) and Terminal 2.

Open 24 hours, they offer superfast Wi-Fi and all-day dining, with the buffet replaced with individually pre-portioned dining options.

marhaba’s safe Premium Home Check-in Service can be booked on marhabaservices.com and is priced from AED 714 (inclusive of VAT). The testing price of AED 209 (inclusive of VAT) per person is paid directly to Mediclinic upon sample collection via cash or credit card.
