Rocco Forte Hotels has opened its only hotel outside of Europe, the Assilia Hotel in Jeddah.
A limited set of rooms are available for booking now, with the rest to open February 1st of next year.
The hotel is located in the city centre on Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Street, and offers 210 rooms and suites and 94 residential suites.
All rooms are 44-47 sqm and offer either one king bed or two twin beds, marble bathrooms and complimentary Wifi.
Suite categories include 79 sqm Classic Suites, 87 sqm Panoramic Suites and 136 sqm Grand Panoramic Suites. Each features one bedroom with a king bed, a marble bathroom, powder room and living room.
Guests staying in suites also receive complimentary concierge services and breakfast either in-suite or at the hotel’s Twenty-Four restaurant.
Residential suites accommodate up to 9 and feature a full kitchen and in some cases, additional bedrooms.
Dining options include the Twenty-Four, a buffet with international cuisine; Middle-Eastern and Mediterranean restaurant Aubergine located on the rooftop terrace; Pampas, an Argentinian grille; and Italian coffee lounge Il Caffé.
For meetings and events, the hotel offers a 386 sqm ballroom for up to 600 guests and 11 meeting rooms, the largest of which accommodates up to 180 guests.
Rates start at £232.77 per night.
Rocco Forte has previously operated a property in Abu Dhabi (Business Traveller reviewed this property in 2012), but the hotel has since been rebranded as the Hilton Abu Dhabi Capital Grand.
