The Four Seasons Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island held opening celebrations last night after completing the construction of its six restaurants and lounges.
The waterfront hotel opened in May after 12 years of work, but was not fully complete until the opening of its Butcher & Still steakhouse on September 29.
The hotel’s 202 rooms include three different types of standard rooms, beginning at 39 sqm and £208/night; three different types of suites, beginning at 75 sqm and £398/night; and two specialty suites.
All rooms offer views of the water, full marble bathrooms with separate showers and soaking tubs, complimentary Wi-Fi, three multi-line telephones, 24-hour laundry and dry cleaning and the guest’s choice of mattress topper and pillow type.
The Butcher & Still is the most upscale of the hotel’s three restaurants, offering steak, seafood and cocktails. Alternatively, Italian restaurant Café Milano was also recently completed and opens inside the hotel on October 10, while Crust has been open since May and serves healthy global cuisine for breakfast, lunch and Friday brunch. Reservations are recommended for Butcher & Still and Café Milano.
Four Seasons Abu Dhabi also has three lounges, including cocktail bar Zsa Zsa, open 5pm-1am; Al Meylas, a café open 9am-1pm; and an outdoor poolside lounge called Eclipse, which serves cocktails and lighter fare for lunch and dinner, open 11am-12am.
For meetings and events, the hotel offers two ballrooms and five other meeting spaces. The Liwa and Al Maryah ballrooms accommodate up to 240 and 530 guests respectively, while the meeting spaces have capacities ranging from 12 to 130.
The hotel offers airline reservations service, laptop access, printing, international newspapers and translation and interpretation services.
Also available are an outdoor pool, separate male and female fitness centres and the hotel spa.
