Vistara, a full service airline — joint venture between Singapore Airlines and Tata Sons — has launched a VistaraFlyEarly service. It allows confirmed ticket holders the flexibility to change their flight up to four hours prior to their originally scheduled departure and on the originally booked route.

The service is available for a fee of ₹1,500.

VistaraFlyEarly includes all taxes, is applicable across all three cabin classes, and doesn’t require passengers to pay a rescheduling fee or the difference in air fares. The passenger must, however, be physically present at the airport to request for an earlier flight.

Further, the fee is waived off for Vistara’s FlexiFare customers who have paid extra for this flexibility at the time of booking their tickets.

The new flight is confirmed to passengers one hour before its take off.
