Korean Air has launched its new Incheon (ICN) to Delhi (DEL) direct service following the arrival of its inaugural flight KE481 at Indira Gandhi Airport on Friday, December 2. The maiden voyage was greeted with a water cannon event at the airport and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Announced in October, the new service operates five days weekly on all days except Monday and Wednesday. Korean Air has deployed its 218-seat Airbus A330-200 and for passengers travelling the route, it provides an opportunity to experience the airline’s newest first and Prestige class seat products.

The Incheon–Delhi leg of the journey is an afternoon flight, departing at 1245 and arriving 1820. The return flight is an overnight service, departing Delhi at 1940 and arriving in Incheon at 0550 the following morning.
