Singapore Airlines will begin operating a fifth freedom service between Manchester and Houston from October 30.
The Star Alliance member currently serves flights between Singapore and Houston via Moscow. However, from October, the Moscow – Houston leg will be suspended.
Flights from Singapore–Moscow will continue.
The Singapore–Manchester–Houston service will be operated five-times weekly. Flight SQ52 will depart Singapore at 0235 and arrive in Manchester at 0900. Following a brief stopover, the service will depart Manchester again at 1015 before arriving in Houston at 1435.
The return service will see SQ51 depart Houston at 1915 and arrive in Manchester at 1005 the next day. The flight will then take off from 1135 and touch back down in Singapore at 0820 the following day.
The new service means that the existing Singapore – Munich – Manchester service will finish, with Singapore – Manchester becoming direct.
