Jet Airways to introduce “Fare Choices”

21 Jul 2016 by Akanksha Maker

Jet Airways will introduce “Fare Choices”, a fare structure that will allow passengers to pick and reject frills while booking flights according to their budget, August 17 onwards.

“”Fare Choices” are similar to plans that are offered by telecommunication companies offering voice and data package as per consumer preference and requirements,” says Colin Neubronner, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Jet Airways.

Jet Airways’ fares categories will be differentiated according to changeability and refund-ability of a ticket, priority check-in and lounge access, mileage accrual and upgrade eligibility. All flights will come with complimentary meals and baggage allowance.

For example, passengers could sacrifice frequent flier miles or lounge access for comparatively lower fares.

A total of eight “Fare Choices” will be introduced across economy, Premiere and first class.

Fliers travelling economy will be able to choose from Deal, Saver, Classic and Flex Fares based on their requirements.

Fliers travelling Premiere class will be able to choose from Saver, Classic and Flex Fares. There will be one fare category for first class as well.

“Fare Choices” will be available on the Jet Airways website and mobile app for its international and domestic routes. jetairways.com
