16 Oct 2012 by BusinessTraveller
Business and first class passengers on American Airlines flights will soon be able to pre-select their onboard meals prior to departure, with all flights set to have the option by the second quarter of next year. The carrier is introducing the new service on selected domestic flights including New York JFK to San Francisco from November 15, and plans to expand the initiative to all domestic flights by the first quarter of 2013, and to all international services by the second quester of next year. Passengers will be able to review menu options at aa.com, and pre-select their desired entrée (main course) between 30 days and 24 hours prior to their flight via the “View Reservation” page. There will even be the flexibility to change selections with this period. For more information on the new service visit aa.com/menu. Report by Mark Caswell
