Bonus tier points and miles with Virgin’s Flying Club

Members of Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club can earn up to 12 bonus tier points and up to 150 per cent bonus Flying Club miles in all classes when booking and completing two return flights before February 28, 2013. You must already be a member of Flying Club before October 15 and pre-register ahead of your flight on the Flying Club website to take advantage of the promotion. Remember to quote your membership number during booking and at check-in for both outbound and inbound flights. The offer is available to all of Virgin Atlantic’s 34 destinations. Bookings must be made in a revenue booking class (J, C, D, I, Z, W, S, K, H, Y, B, R, L, U, M, V, E, Q, X, N or O) in order to qualify, if you are unsure the booking class will be displayed on the Virgin Atlantic website. Once registered you will earn 50 per cent bonus miles and four bonus tier points on your first return flight and 100 per cent bonus miles and eight tier points on your second, making a total of 12 bonus tier points over two return flights. These rewards come on top of the base miles and points earned for travel and will still be multiplied dependant on the class of travel and tier status. This applies to Flying Club Silver and Gold members, who earn an extra 50 per cent and 100 per cent of the base flown economy mileage respectively. For example, where a Premium Economy return flight to New York would normally earn eight tier points, it will now earn 12 tier points on the first flight, and 16 tier points on the second, making a total of 28 tier points earned.
