Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts and Safaris has launched a new mobile app in partnership with Proxce who offers “mobile based real-world identity management solution”.
Through the app, users receive regular notifications on the hospitality group’s offers and Taj Holidays deals. They can also plan their trips, book any of the 98 Taj properties across 61 locations worldwide, check into properties, start a live chat with Taj’s customer service executives, have keyless access to guest rooms, and manage their Taj InnerCircle accounts.
Chinmai Sharma, the chief revenue officer at Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris said, “Data accessibility and mobile usage is growing exponentially across the world, especially in growing travel markets like India. Nearly 50 per cent of our guests are now using a mobile device to explore our hotels and destinations somewhere in their purchase path. Online and mobile are our fastest growing channels and we will continue to invest in this area with the goal of creating a consistent guest experience across all platforms. We are grateful to Proxce who have partnered with us to successfully develop a destination-led and customer-centric app.”
Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces will reward Daily Hotel Credit of up to ₹2,000 (excluding taxes) to any guest booking a room through the app. The credits can be “utilised towards, F&B, laundry, SPA and incidentals”. To avail the offer, guests must book before July 31 for stays until September 30.
