Lower Manhattan hotel The Roxy is nearing the end of a revamp which has seen its guest rooms and public spaces redesigned.
Situated at number 2 Avenue of the Americas and formerly known as the Tribeca Grand, the property has been renamed The Roxy, inspired by the city’s 1920’s cinema and 1990’s dance club.
The hotels’ 201 rooms have been redesigned by local designer Brianna Stanley, and the ground floor all-day restaurant features modern-American dishes including lobster and Guancial Bucatini.
The Django jazz club opened in September last year, and a Jack’s Stir Brew Coffee outlet will follow this month, along with an in-hotel cinema screening “creatively curated movies in collaboration with Submarine Films”, and a Blackstones hairdressing salon.
The Roxy is part of Grand Life Hotels, a group which also includes the Soho Grand Hotel.
