Wyndham Hotel Group has unveiled a new guestroom design concept for its economy Super 8 hotel brand, with the intention of bringing the offering to the European, Middle Eastern and African market.
Guests will benefit from an Eight Point Promise, including free internet and continental breakfast, free stays for children sharing an adult’s room, free premium cable / satellite TV channels, walk-in power showers, free coffee available in the lobby, guaranteed best available rates at super8.com, and access to the Wyndham Rewards programme. Rooms will also feature USB charging stations.
As yet the group has only confirmed intentions for a minimum of ten Super 8 hotels to be developed in Poland, but announcing the new concept Wyndham Hotel Group president and CEO Eric Danziger said:
“This is an exciting time for our Super 8 brand as we work towards a greater presence in Europe and reinforce the brand’s position as the world’s largest economy lodging chain with over 2,200 hotels.
“We are pleased to offer a room concept that retains the essence of the Super 8 brand while catering to the EMEA marketplace.”
Wyndham currently operates over 2,200 Super 8 properties across Canada, the US and China, and claims to offer “more hotels than any other economy lodging chain in the world”.
