All-business class carrier Silverjet has launched a mobile version of its website for business travellers on the go.
The “full-service” website allows customers to book flights, check schedules and flight status, select seats, and even choose their meals from a PDA or internet-enabled mobile.
Users can access the mobile internet site through the normal flysilverjet.com address, or UK customers can text “Silverjet” to 60767 to receive a link via text message.
In other news Silverjet shares rose yesterday (April 9) on reports that the carrier is currently in talks regarding a possible takeover. The airline said in a statement: "Silverjet notes the recent increase in its share price. The company is currently in discussions which may or may not lead to an offer.''
