Park Inn to open Frankfurt airport property

Rezidor’s mid-market Park Inn brand is to add a Frankfurt airport hotel to its portfolio in 2010.
The property will be located directly opposite the airport’s Terminal 2, and will form part of a mixed use development comprising offices, retail outlets and the hotel itself. Features will include 209 guest rooms, a restaurant, meeting facilities, fitness centre and underground parking.
The Park Inn Frankfurt Airport joins the city centre Radisson SAS Hotel Frankfurt (famous for its mirrored disc-shaped exterior) as the second Rezidor-managed property in the city. The Park Inn will also be the closest hotel to the airport’s second terminal – Terminal 1 already has a Sheraton hotel attached by a covered walkway.
