Hilton Garden Inn to debut in Switzerland

Hilton is to manage a Garden Inn property in the Swiss city of Davos, home to the annual World Economic Forum.

Due to open in late 2012, Hilton Garden Inn Davos will join the Hilton Basel and Hilton Zurich airport properties as the third property by the group in Switzerland. The hotel will have 148 rooms with signature features including the Garden Sleep System bed, ergonomic Mirra chair, free wifi internet access and a 24-hour business centre.

Other facilities will include a lobby lounge area and bar, all day restaurant, evening room service, an onsite car park, five meeting rooms, and a fitness centre with three saunas, a whirlpool, solarium and relaxation area.

Located in Eastern Switzerland, Davos is the largest skiing resort in the country, and is home to the annual World Econimic Forum, which will next take place between January 26 and 30, 2011.
