BA announces new Executive Club partnership
Published: 03/07/2009 - Filed under: News »
British Airways has formed a new partnership with the Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), offering members of BA’s Executive Club loyalty programme 500 miles per stay at participating hotels. Until September 30, all Executive Club members can earn double miles per stay as a welcome bonus.
In addition to earning miles, gold Executive Club members will also gain an upgrade to the next room category when they check in, subject to availability.
James Hiller, BA's Executive Club manager, said: “The Global Hotel Alliance's worldwide reach of luxury hotels and resorts will give BA Executive Club members even more choice and opportunities to earn BA miles when they travel. Critically, GHA brings with them a wide selection of properties in Asia and the Middle East, which we believe will prove very popular with our members.”
GHA is an alliance of independent hotel brands, such as Anantara, the Doyle Collection, Kempinski and Leela. There are currently 192 member hotels in 140 cities across 44 different countries.
