A boutique hotel dedicated to gin has opened on London’s Portobello Road.
Located in a former pub, The Distillery hotel features two bars, a gin museum and ‘gin experience’ centre, an off licence shop, a 400 litre gin still, a private dining room and bar and three guest rooms.
The property’s ground floor Resting Room pub serves spirits distilled on-site as well as a variety of unique blends, including avocado and olive oil vodka.
Classic drinks and cocktails are also on offer, along with international spirits served from hand-made barrels suspended from the ceiling.
Also on the second floor is Spanish themed bar and kitchen, Gintonica, which offers a menu created by executive head chef Greg Lewis.
The property’s private dining room and bar, The Boardroom, can be found on the top floor along with three guest rooms.
Guests can book rooms from January 3 with prices starting from £125 per night. The hotel is offering an introductory offer to diners with 50 per cent off food at Resting Room and Gintonica until January 31.
