Hilton Worldwide has announced the opening of full-service, upscale Doubletree Suites by Hilton Bangalore.
The new property is located on Sarjapur Outer Ring Road, in the southeast region of Bangalore. It is about 15km from the city centre and relatively close to offices of several international corporations such as AT&T, HSBC EDPI and Intel.
Doubletree Suites by Hilton Bangalore offers 172 guestrooms that are available in a number of configurations, namely studios and one- to three-bedroom suites.
Studio
As with all properties under the brand, the hotel will feature the signature “Sweet Dreams by Doubletree Sleep Experience” bed, which features a specialised design that includes continuous innerspring support, and a quilted top. Other amenities include internet access, remote printing and an array of bath concoctions by Crabtree & Evelyn.
All of the units have distinct living, dining and work areas – although in the case of a studio the living area is very much just a sofa between the bed and the desk against the wall – as well as a kitchenette and private balcony. Dishwasher and washing machine/dryer are provided in the suites.
There are a number of dining options available including Asia Alive, an all-day restaurant serving Pan-Asian fare; the lounge bar Equinox that offers a selection of wines along with light bites; and the Grab and Go cafe and deli which dishes out fresh bakeries and beverages for both dine-in and takeaway customers.
Lobby
In terms of facilities and services, there is a 24-hour business centre; 279sqm of conference and event space; a temperature controlled outdoor swimming pool, steam and sauna rooms; and a fully-equipped fitness centre. Free wifi is provided in all public areas of the hotel.
To commemorate the opening of the hotel, Hilton HHonor members can enjoy 1,000 bonus points per night when paying best available rates for stays between January 9 and July 31.
