Jaipur Marriott has opened with a 3,995-square-meter ballroom, 13 breakaway venues and a lawn for outdoor functions, providing meeting planners a new alternative in one of India's iconic visitor spots.
The 365-room property is also conveniently located near the airport. “With tremendous growth as a business hub during the past few years, Jaipur is set to become one of the most sought-after destinations for both leisure and for business travellers in India,” said Rajeev Menon, Marriott International’s area vice president, India, Maldives, Malaysia & Australia.
Besides being one of the pillars in the Golden Triangle tourist trail (along with Delhi and Agra), the fabled "Pink City" is known as the largest exporter of gold, diamond and stone jewellery in Asia. Its real estate business has also been booming in recent years.
An opening offer is available until August 31, 2011 and starts from INR6999(US$157.78) for a deluxe room per night. Guests will receive INR1,000 (US$22.54) credit per night as well as complimentary breakfast in the fine dining restaurant OKRA.
