China Airlines (CAL) is to expand its Japanese network with the launch of a new passenger service from Taipei to Miyazaki, starting on January 21, 2010.
Miyazaki is located in the southeast section of Kyushu Island, Japan. It is known for its fascinating culture and spectacular landscapes such as the Miyazaki Shrine, Takachiho Falls and Aoshima Island.
The twice-weekly service will run Thursday and Sunday, using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with two-class configurations – eight seats in Business Class and 150 seats in Economy Class.
Journey time is two hours and 10 minutes.
CAL is offering a generous group package fare for passengers on the first three flights, and favorable discounts on Economy-Class and Business-Class airfares.
With the new route, CAL will increase its services to Japan to 81 flights per week, spanning eight destinations such Sapporo, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Okinawa, and now, Miyazaki.
