Holidaymakers departing Singapore for Koh Samui will be able to fly Business Class daily on Bangkok Airways from December 1. Introductory return fares start from S$800 (US$531).

Scheduled daily departures from Singapore on PG962 are at 8.10pm, arriving in Samui at 8.50pm local time. Flight PG961 will leave the next day at 4.35pm and arrive in Singapore at 7.20pm.

The Blue Ribbon Class (BRC), Bangkok Airways’ Business Class product, is offered on the Airbus A319. BRC patrons will also enjoy benefits such as private check in, lounge access, priority boarding, priority baggage claim and a baggage limit of 30kg.

The service is currently available on Bangkok Airways’ Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh and Koh Samui routes. The Hongkong-Samui route will benefit from the perk from February next year.

Bangkok Airways currently has two A319 aircraft with an additional six on order. By 2009, it will have a total of eight A319 aircraft, four of which to be outfitted with the Business Class product.
