Hilton Worldwide and Hyatt Hotels will both open properties at The Wharf in Washington DC, with some shared facilities.
The 175-room Canopy by Hilton and 238-room Hyatt House hotels will be located between Maine Avenue and Wharf Street and are due to open in autumn 2017.
They will share a café/bar and other dining options, a fitness centre, 230 sqm of meeting room space, an outdoor swimming pool and a rooftop bar.
The total built area for both hotels, including ground floor retail and shared space, is approximately 27,870 sqm.

Last week, Hilton announced that it will open a Conrad hotel in San Luis Potosi next year (see news, August 13).
