Single-use plastics are replaced with filtered water in carafes, and participants can help themselves to writing materials as and when needed at stationery ‘stations’, to prevent unnecessary paper wastage. What’s more, writing pads are printed on recycled paper and delegates are issued with bamboo pens instead of standard biros constructed from plastic.
