Bespoke features
For those who appreciate style as well as substance, distinguishing features include the distinctive bonnet with a chromed fin and the Mercedes-Maybach radiator grille, with the word mark MAYBACH elegantly integrated into its chrome surround. The rear doors are wider than those of the brother models and exclusivity is enhanced by the Maybach brand logo on the C-pillar. On request, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class can be equipped with electrically operated comfort rear doors.
Space and comfort
The new S-Class is 18 cm longer, which translates to even more space in the rear. For customers who are chauffeured in their Maybach, this means extra comfort, particularly as the Executive Seats, which come as standard, have been modelled on aircraft Business Class seating. There’s more legroom too. For those driving the vehicle, the luxury feel can be attributed to a new revolutionary interior design – admire the sculptured look of the dashboard, centre console and armrests, which appear to float above an expansive interior landscape. Up to five display screens are available with this model too.
Safer than ever
In the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, attention has always been paid to safety in the rear section. Features of this model include an innovative rear airbag and an automatic belt extender. In day-to-day driving, new and extended assistance systems relieve driver stress as the situation requires when adapting the vehicle speed, controlling distance, steering and lane changing. For peace of mind, there are 18 airbags throughout the entire vehicle.
A quiet drive
Enhancing the luxury driving and passenger experience, there are 235 LEDs that provide its ambience lighting. Using counter-phased soundwaves, audio signals are emitted that reach the human ear within three milliseconds to overlay road noise generated. Customers can go all out and opt for noise-optimised tyres with foam absorbers.
Middle East model
In the Middle East, the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 4MATIC is available to purchase. Powered by a V12 engine with an output of 630 hp (463 kW), the S 680 4MATIC marks the last 12-cylinder engine available in Mercedes-Benz portfolio.
