Passing through Fra T2 earlier in the week on my way back to London, I tried showing my boarding pass to the airport agent by the fast track line. She turned her head away and stated firmly, she does not check boarding cards. I asked whether the line I was in was fast track or any track. Her answer was that she is under strict instructions from fraport NOT to check any boarding cards and the fast track line is for all passengers to use.

With a smile, I offered to remove the fast track sign so my fellow passengers would not become confused – at that point she threatened to have security remove me from the airport.

So I now know officially, what I have known unofficially….. that there is no fast track for the T2 gates at Frankfurt..
