EastbourneguyParticipantDoes anyone know if the codes will get cut off again on the 31st December again this year?
Last year they stopped working on the 31st December and it took weeks for them to be reinstated?

SergeantMajorParticipantBest to wait until 2 January to contact the Company Secretary to confirm their continuing validity.

BigDog.ParticipantActually Marcus shareholder discount is only available for the original BA (BAY) shareholders prior to the link up with IB to form IAG, discount is not available to historic IB shareholders or IAG share purchases since it was formed.
Shortly after Walsh took the reins BA stood at £5.75. Methinks it is a very small sop/compensation for the loss of value BA shareholders incurred resulting from the badly timed, as Walsh belatedly admitted, and grossly overvalued merger/buy-out of IB.

SwissExPatParticipantAs with most things, it is all about timing. I bought my BA shares for £2.50 so am sitting on a decent gain. Plus the £2k I’ve saved using the discount!

SergeantMajorParticipantMore doublespeak from BigDog.
Willie Walsh’s IAG was the top performing share in the FTSE 100 during 2013:
Even BigDog. bought the shares, such confidence has he in Willie’s abilities! You couldn’t make it up!

BigDog.ParticipantBased purely on BA performance aided by a competition constrained LHR
Walsh took it down from £5.75 to £1.30 and beyond (£1.09) I took the view he couldn’t make it any worse due to intrinsic asset value (+LHR slots) or chance a buyer would come along. Thus far in the months/8 years Walsh should have been increasing shareholder value he has managed to lose around 30%
Just think what BA could have achieved without being tied to IB and under a leader who knows how to motivate a team for the long term.
