Recent Flight with BA

Further to my post in February where I was unhappy with my BA flight I would like to say that I have just returned from a UK trip with them and the both flights were absolutely fabulous. I was able to upgrade to First using Avios and I really didn’t expect there to be such a huge difference from travelling in Club, I was pleasantly surprised and it has restored my faith in BA. Well done to the all the crew.

I recently had two very good flights with BA in CW to/from Dubai. Only problems were :

1. No magazines on board out or back.
2. Awful breakfast into Dubai. Fab breakfast into LHR.
3. Going through the terminal in Dubai was chaos in security, offset by a very good new lounge.
4. Quality of wine has gone down a notch in First class lounge in LHR, but I’m off the booze anyway so not a problem.
5. 747 refit; upstairs cabin was great but IFE already falling apart in my seat and one across the aisle.
