Emirates and Airline Subsidies

    Came across this report by Emirates in which they deny receiving any subsidies and point out how much various airlines, eg AF, €3bn+, have received. Some of those same airlines have also been big critics of Emirates.

    Not sure if it’s 100% factual and I’ve no doubt there’s some spin in it, but interesting nonetheless.

    Yes, it is interesting but Emirates is not subject to the same amount of scrutiny as an airline that is a public company such as United, BA, QANTAS, Virgin Australia and so on.

    The truth is probably around the ‘middle’ of the argument.
