i recently travelled BA361 from lyon to LHR. I was SHOCKED that on landing at T1 and being told we needed to be ferried to the international arrivals that they used a WHOLE large commuter bus for the 4 people in club world and then two more busses for the rest. seriously get a grip for a 5 minute ride you are using a whole bus? What a waste of diesel, the cost of the bus and the drivers wages. do that a hundred times a day and its a full time job. i would rather save 5 quid on the ticket and pollute less.

Well done BA, at last recognition of premium customers to give them a more comfortable journey. I get fed up of having bus transfers when travelling in Club and having to be squeezed in a bus.

@NTarrant Totally agree with you. Similar to the situation of losing the F lounge at LGW at 15.00 every day….Golds have to squeeze into the Galleries lounge surrounded by noises kids running around!! Our own bus…our own lounge. :-)))

If only BA was consistent. I recently arrived at T5 from Atlanta in First to be bussed from a remote stand. As the captain said a bus to avoid having to catch a train. Not so good when you have to use a crutch down the stairs rather than the elevator to the train! And then having to share the bus with 60 or more fellow standing passengers while a second bus was nowhere to be seen for the next off the plane Still we were only an hour or so late and immigration + baggage claim were efficient.
