BA 001 Today. Fantastic!

The second time I’ve used this service from LCY to JFK recently and I have to say that today’s flight was BA at its very best, the way it used to be years ago.
Everything was excellent from the small but perfectly appointed ‘lounge’ at gate 24 to the eventual arrival at JFK without the need to trudge through customs.
I don’t drink alcohol on flights but the choices looked tempting and my lunch was excellent.
A nice touch, the CSD made himself known to me and took my food order first so I was guaranteed 1st choice.
the team on board were friendly and attentive at all times.
So very different from my experience with BA 2 weeks ago from LHR to JFK where the CSD was nowhere to be seen during the entire flight.

For me, fantastic & a flight that I actually enjoyed as opposed to tolerated.
I don’t mean to sound in any way condescending but, well done BA……shows it CAN be done.
