I’ve got to fly back from East Coast USA shortly.

Never having flown on the Dreamliner, I’ve got the option of Club on a 787 or First on a 747.

First is probably my preference, but I wondered what other BT contributors thought.

BA First on old aircraft leaves a lot to be desired….

However if you prefer comfort over cleanliness then stick with it.

Having experienced both and it being a short flight, I would go for the 787. If you do, try row 7.

I assume this would be the true first class cabin, rather than club sold as first but with a club service?? If its the US I assume a true first class cabin. IMHO, whilst its not up there with some airlines, its still a pretty good experience.

from the east coast, wouldn’t waste your money in F..

if you manage to sleep in C, you wont notice the difference…..

    Agree with MartynSinclair

East coast flight can be as little as 5.45 – 6 hours – not worth paying for First.
