One of the latest products from trendy laptop bag specialist Be-ez, the LE Rush is custom designed to hold 13- and 15-inch Apple Macbooks. It comes in three colours – Black Coffee (black and dark brown), Lime Park (khaki and lime green), Lagoon Dream (grey and blue).
I tried out the 13-inch version in Lime Park – it’s stylish to look at and makes a change from black, although the lime interior is perhaps a bit too vibrant for some tastes. The bag is made of ballistic nylon and feels strong; I imagine the khaki colour would also help to disguise wear and tear. The inside is well padded to protect your laptop, with extra padding around the edges and in the lower corners. It was easy to slide my Macbook in and out – so no delays at airport security.
A pocket inside that fastens with Velcro can be used to store A4-sized documents (although not that many), and there are two smaller pockets for pens and so on. An exterior pocket that also fastens with Velcro is handy for slipping in small items – I found it useful for storing my passport and boarding card in here when going through security. There is also a zip compartment inside here. There are two nylon handles for carrying the bag in your hand, as well as a comfortable removable shoulder strap.
