Lanes of London is one of the coolest meeting destinations on Park Lane, serving the best of modern British cuisine. From a healthy breakfast to Sunday roast and afternoon tea, this restaurant and bar at London Marriott Hotel Park Lane has it all.

For starters, I tried the cured dill salmon with lemon crème fraiche, radish cress and caviar. The freshness from the dill and mild flavour from the cured salmon made this dish a hit for me. For mains, I opted for a seared seabass served with fennel, olive, tomato, baby potato, and sauce vierge.

The seabass was cooked well and the quintessential French sauce complemented the food seamlessly.

Throughout the meal, I kept munching on sweet potato fries — for an extra indulgence, top them with parmesan and truffle. Not to forget the California red wine that added to my dining experience.

I concluded my meal with a rhubarb crème brulée with pistachio biscotti. The crispy creamy combination was done to perfection.

Verdict: A must-visit spot in Park Lane for modern British cuisine.
