Background

Opened in August 2011, Jumeirah Frankfurt forms a part of the Palais Quartier complex, a prominent city centre structure in Europe.

What’s it like?

Jumeirah Frankfurt is the highest hotel in the city centre with 25 floors. A unique aspect of the property is that it houses beehives on the roof at a height of about 100 metres. Guests can taste the honey from these honeycombs at the breakfast buffet or they can buy a honey jar as a souvenir. Also, the art collection here is impressive. Stunning creations by German painter Hartwig Ebersbach and original works by local artists can be found in the rooms and public areas of the hotel.

Where is it?

Located in the heart of the city, the hotel is 13km from Frankfurt Airport. It offers direct connection to the shopping centre, My Zeil, and is close to the Zeil shopping street.

Rooms

I stayed in a Skyline Junior suite, opening to sweeping views of the Frankfurt cityscape. This 50 sqm suite exudes an understated yet luxurious vibe, and is packed with all the vital amenities required to make your business or leisure trip a comfortable one. The suite comes with a modern open bathroom concept that has a separate walk-in shower and bathtub. Other accommodation options include the Skyline deluxe room, Panoramic suite and Senator suite among others. For those seeking exclusivity, there is the Presidential suite, fitted with a separate living and dining area, a master bedroom with a private bathroom, a sauna and a dressing room. Adding to this, is a second bedroom with private bathroom, a kitchen area and an additional guest bathroom.

Food and Drink

The F&B outlets are impressive. You have Max on One Grillroom, the signature restaurant that serves meat and fish specialities, as well as some vegetarian delights. Savour Lebanese cuisine complemented by live belly dance performances at the El Rayyan restaurant. For a relaxing afternoon or a vibrant evening, pick the Ember Bar and Lounge for champagne and cocktails.

Meetings

Host a gala dinner or intimate gatherings at Jumeirah Frankfurt’s event floor spanning across 730 sqm. The meeting venues include the Crystal Ballroom, a pre-function area and four salons. Adorned with Swarovski crystals, the ballroom can accommodate up to 300 (stand-up cocktail reception-style) guests. On the other hand, the four private meeting rooms are ideal for organising events for around 80 people.

Leisure

Pamper yourself with some rejuvenating wellness treatments at Talise Spa, equipped with two saunas, dedicated relaxation areas and five treatment rooms. Health enthusiasts should check out the Fitness First Frankfurt My Zeil. Lastly, indulge in some retail therapy at Talise Boutique and shop from brands like Aromatherapy Associates, Carita, Angelo Caroli and Roja Dove.

Verdict: With a convenient location, lavish accommodation, an expansive F&B and high-end recreational amenities, this towering hotel is highly recommended for your next visit to Frankfurt.
