Air India will launch a direct flight between Varanasi and Colombo, August 4 onward. It will fly the route on Fridays and Sundays. This will be in addition to the existing services between the two cities, via New Delhi.
Flight AI 271 will depart Varanasi at 1235 and land in Colombo at 1555. Return flight AI 272 will depart from Colombo at 1655 and land in Varanasi at 2020.
The A321 airbus will serve this route.
