Westin has opened its first Cairo property, the Westin Cairo Golf Resort and Spa Katameya Dunes.
The resort offers 135 rooms and suites, starting from the 40 sqm Classic room, which features either one king or two double beds, a bathroom with separate shower and bath and a balcony with garden views.
Superior rooms offer all the same features with 45 sqm of space and pool-view balconies.
Westin Suites include a bedroom with a king bed and separate living and dining area for 90 sqm of space. Balconies overlook either the pool or the golf course.
Presidential Suites span 150 sqm total area, including a bedroom with one king bed, living area, dining table that seats up to six, and private terrace with a plunge pool overlooking the golf course.
The course was designed by former English professional golfer Sir Nick Faldo, and features an 18-hole course and a nine-hole course, as well as a Golf Academy and 350 yd driving range.
The spa features ten private therapy rooms and two suites for couples, each with its own shower. Other facilities include a steam room, rain shower, and whirlpool.
Westin Cairo also offers four dining options: all-day Mediterranean restaurant Paloma, Dunes Bar, In-Pool Bar and in-room dining.
The resort is the second Westin property in Egypt, joining Soma Bay Golf Resort & Spa, which opened earlier this year.
