A fully owned subsidiary of state-owned Air India, budget carrier Air India Express has started two non-stop services to the UAE: Tiruchirappalli–Dubai (daily) and Chandigarh–Sharjah (Monday, Thursday and Saturday). 

Air India Express launched its Tiruchirappalli-Sharjah service last month.

Next week Air India Express will launch flights between Chennai and Singapore.

Flight IX-611 departs from Tiruchirappalli at 0055 and reaches Dubai at 0345. Return flight IX-612 departs from Dubai at 1825 and reaches Tiruchirappalli at 0005. 

Flight IX-187 departs from Chandigarh at 1815 and arrives at Sharjah at 2000. Return flight IX-188 departs from Sharjah at 1245 and reaches Chandigarh at 1715.

Starting October 21, the airline will offer two options between Chennai and Singapore: direct (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and through Tiruchirappalli (daily).

Direct flight IX-686 departs from Chennai at 0700 and lands in Singapore at 1340. Return flight IX-685 departs from Singapore at 1440 and lands in Chennai at 1610.

Connecting flight IX-682 departs from Chennai at 0125, has a 45-minute layover at Tiruchirappalli, and arrives at Singapore at 0955. Return connecting flight IX-681 departs from Singapore at 1050, has a 50-minute layover at Tiruchirappalli, and arrives at Chennai at 1410.
