Ethiopian Airlines to take delivery of A350

Ethiopian Airlines takes delivery of its first Airbus A350 this week, becoming the first African carrier to fly the new-generation wide-body aircraft. The airline has a total of 14 A350s on order, configured with 30 Cloud Nine business class seats, and 318 economy seats. Ethiopian Airlines A350 Ethiopian says it will primarily operate its first A350 on routes from Addis Ababa to Lagos and Dubai. The carrier is the second Star Alliance member to operate the A350, joining Singapore Airlines. Ethiopian Airlines A350 Commenting on the delivery Tewolde GebreMariam, Group CEO of Ethiopian airlines said: “We are proud to be leading the way again and present the A350 XWB to our continent.  We are happy to be providing our passengers more travel options and industry latest technology. “We are especially honoured to be the ones bringing these firsts to the continent.
