In addition the carrier has replaced all of the backrests on the economy class seats on its A330 aircraft “for better support and the best comfort”, following feedback from customers.
Commenting on the new class, Lars Redeligx, chief commercial officer Brussels Airlines said:
“We see an increasing demand for a product between Business Class and Economy Class. Our new Economy Plus offers more space, more comfort and more amenities at a very attractive price.
“After implementing our new commercial strategy successfully for short-haul flights, we are now starting to implement a new product generation also on our long-haul flights. More innovations are already in the pipeline.”
