16 Jun 2016 by BusinessTraveller

Hilton Worldwide has opened its first Conrad property in the Philippines, with the unveiling of the Conrad Manila.

The 347-room hotel is situated within the Mall of Asia complex, in the city’s reclamation development known as Bay City.

The building’s architecture was inspired “by the shipping vessels that ply the bay”, and the hotel has direct access via walking bridges to the adjacent SMX Convention Centre.

The third floor of the hotel features an infinity pool “inspired by the pristine coastal seas of the Philippines with its coral shape”, and there is a 24-hour gym and spa facilities with six treatment rooms, soaking tubs, private sauna and steam room.

The hotel’s food and beverage outlets include China Blue by Jeremy Leung, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking the bay, and Brasserie on 3 ofering al fresco dining and a chef’s table.

For meetings and events there are two ballrooms and four events halls, and outdoor garden space The Veranda.

Hilton’s luxury Conrad brand recently opened its first Indian property in Pune, and has announced plans for its first Qatar property, scheduled to open in 2019.
