Qantas will start redesigning its Brisbane International First and Business lounges from June 29, with the new International Premium Lounge scheduled to open in October. The facility will provide seasonal menus by Qantas Chef Neil Perry, a bar serving Rockpool-designed cocktails and all-day barista coffee by Vittoria (read our Qantas Hong Kong Lounge Check here). Qantas International Premium Lounge Both International First and Business lounges will be closed from June 29. Eligible Qantas passengers will have complimentary access to the Plaza Premium Lounge or vouchers for food outlets in the terminal. Philip Capps, Qantas head of customer product and service development, said the multimillion-dollar investment at Brisbane Airport would deliver a new benchmark in premium travel from Queensland’s capital. “The new Brisbane International Premium Lounge highlights our continued investment in the entire customer journey. The new lounge will offer an outstanding experience in premium design, service, and food and wine.” Domestic terminal lounges at the airport are also set for a redesign in the coming months, with a new Business Lounge and refreshed Qantas Club planned for launch from early next year.
