Starwood announces two new Riyadh hotels

Starwood Hotels and Resorts has announced two new properties for the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh.

The group will debut its Westin and Element brands in the city, as part of a mixed-use development close to the King Abdullah Financial District.

Westin Riyadh will feature 388 rooms four food and beverage outlets, a swimming pool, fitness centre and spa, while the Element Riyadh will offer 244 studio, one and two-bedroom suites, all with fully equipped kitchens and spa-inspired bathrooms.

Guests of the Element Riyadh will also have access to all of the leisure facilities at the Westin property.

Both hotels are scheduled to open in 2022, as part of a development which will feature over 4,000 sqm of retail space.

Starwood is also set to open the Aloft Riyadh this summer.
